A blog for all Last Story related things, Sakaguchi related things, Square Enix/ Mistwalker/ Monolith related things, and the fans of those things stated above.

I will sometimes post things UN-related COMPLETELY to the things stated above so don't have a heart attack :P

If you aren't familiar with the Last Story I'll set it up for you...

-It's a brand new game from the daddy of Final Fantasy (final fantasy I-X) Hironobu Sakaguchi

-Music for the game is composed by Nobuo Uematsu who is arguably one of the best composers of our time

-In the Japanese version, it's voiced by many popular anime VAs. In the European (and all Western) versions, the voices were handled by the same team who did Xenoblade's English VAs. However, the team sought out for more accents and different voices to make the towns people more diverse and make the town feel alive.

~FEBRUARY 2012 UPDATE~ The Last Story is confirmed for an American release, sometime this SUMMER! ~2012 UPDATE~ The Last Story is set to be released in Europe February 24th and set for a Austrailian release February 23rd! Both the regular and limited editions are up for preorder on Amazon for Europe.

~GENERAL AUGUST 2011 UPDATE~ The game has been officially confirmed by NOE for a release in 2012 with Pandora's Tower. However no word yet on a USA debut.

~May 2011 update~ The game has reportedly sold 170k so far and possibly can crack 200k by the end of the year which is good for a NEW RPG IP in Japan (let alone in this time when games in Japan just don't sell unless it's Final Fantasy or another big name)

~1/18/11 UPDATE~ The game has received a 38/40 from Famitsu Magazine which is popular in Japan and somewhat influences sales.

~1/28/11 UPDATE~ The game has apparently sold out it's first shipment and sold out on Amazon Japan. The first shipment is reportedly 120k.
